Nutrition Program
What was formerly known as the Senior Nutrition Program at the Gold Beach Community Center is now simply the Nutrition Program.
The name change is meant to ensure inclusion of ANY person who needs help with food security in Gold Beach.
The Community Center offers a hot lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 11:30am to 12:30pm, to ANYONE who comes to the Community Center. All are welcome! We do request a modest $8 donation toward the cost of your meal. Our true cost per meal is just under $10 and we only receive $2.05 in assistance from the federal government for each meal. The remaining we raise through donations and grants.
Meals on Wheels
We serve approximately 42 home-bound people a week through our Meals on Wheels program. They each receive seven meals a week.
All meals are delivered to their homes by our dedicated VOLUNTEER drivers twice a week and are provided to them at no-cost.
However, donations and contributions toward the cost of meals is welcomed. Each meal costs us just under $10 each and we only received $2.05 in assistance from the federal government. The remaining we have to raise through donations and fundraisers.

Partnerships
Critical to our success is the development of partnerships with other nonprofit and community organizations in providing our meal and activity services. We are especially committed to ensuring that all in our community have access to nutritious meals. Everyone is welcome and all belong at the Community Center!
In addition, we work together with the Curry County Homeless Coalition and prepare around unhoused folks in our area.
